Edward Beckford got a taste for film and television at the age of nine, as a child star of a PBS television show for kids, "Vegetable Soup".

Since his childhood debut on the television series "Vegetable Soup", Edward has appeared on the tv shows "West Wing", "Homicide", "Life on the Street", "The Hack", "The District", and "The Corner" Also in films, including "Enemy of the State",  "The Replacements", "Dick", "Rocky and Bullwinkle", and Tom Clancy’s "NetForce".

 

In addition to directing theatre, television, commercials, music videos and films, Edward still enjoys acting.

 

In 2006 Edward moved from the East coast to Los Angeles to pursue Directing full time.  Using his 20 plus years of technical and creative experience to amass an impressive resume as a 1st Assistant Director and 2nd Unit Director, working with Producer Roger Corman, Cinematographer Tak Fujimoto and Bill Duke to name a few.
